I am rarely disappointed whenever I visit Target. The store is always clean, mostly stocked and the majority of the staff is friendly and helpful (there are still those who will see a person who looks like they may have a question and they turn down a different aisle or they won't make eye contact). But, overall, I love my visits.

Good store, nice entrance. The cafe is a wonderful addition to Target, however it is usually closed. Checkout sometimes is a hassle, usually goes by fast though. Inventory can be a bit better, always out of something. Great quality.

I don't shop there regularly but I was just there a couple of weeks ago and they had Cashiers. They don't have a lot of business so I'm guessing they don't need many employees. Can't speak on the cards and whatever else. One very important thing to do nowadays is MAKE SURE you carry your patience with you when you leave home to go ANYPLACE! That's what helps me deal with things.
