Rate was about $40 - $50 less than surrounding hotels. Staff was very pleasant and the bed was clean & comfortable. Bathroom was clean and acceptable. Available Breakfast items included coffee, juice, cereal, apples, yogurt, and some microwavable breakfast sandwiches. Not necessarily a hot breakfast, but for the rate was plenty good and most hotels have cut back on breakfast items due to staffing anyway. There is a Waffle House right next door if you want hot breakfast. Overall, the hotel is very much in need of repair / update. The first room I was given was very "musty" smelling, but staff quickly and graciously switched me to another room with no problems. Carpet and Furniture is worn out and needs to be replaced. I would not walk in carpeted area without shoes or sandals on (this is typical for me at any hotel, but definitely here). Needs a fresh coat of paint everywhere. Snack & Soda machines out of order. Ice Machine was gross....needs extensive cleaning and / or repair. I did see some evidence in the stairwell areas with new flooring going down, so maybe the repairs & updates are a work in progress. As a single male (and former military) I would probably stay here again if looking to save some $$$ (I have definitely slept in worse places). However, I don't think I would bring a wife or kids until they have things updated a bit.

Positive: The A/C worked. Staff was friendly. Hotel was mostly quiet. Parking lot well lit. Negative: The room and hallways smelled like cigarette smoke despite the no smoking signs posted everywhere. There was pimento cheese spread left in our fridge. The remote didn't work for the TV. One of the bathroom lights over the mirror didn't work. Beds small.

For a Non smoking establishment that all you can smell, Windows were pinned shut... The furniture throughout was in Sad Shape. The dinning room looked as pre school after lunch, trashed and sticky. Had the boss known she would have bought a room some place else....

Beds were hard and uncomfortable, no ice machine worked in the entire building, a bug fell off of the ceiling onto my two month old that was sitting on the bed, front desk phone line was busy for hours, took multiple phone calls for someone to answer, people were in and out of rooms all night, talking loud and slamming doors. This hotel has just gone down it used to be really nice, And the prices have gone up!
