Our stay at Carriage Crossing was great! The management was very kind and quite responsive. There were a few times when it took maintenance a little too long to respond to our request and the pool was closed for quite a while during the summer because they needed to do maintenance. But hey, their is an employee shortage so I’m sure they were doing the best they could. One of other tenants in our building had problems with mice, but we never did. I was also a little bummed that the kitchen and bathroom needed updating. As a result our apartment felt a little rundown. All in all, good folks and a great location! Shawn the lawn guy was my favorite, but all the management was so pleasant! He was super nice to our dog. Thanks, Shawn! P.S. there is another reviewer named “S” who had a lot of complaints about aggressive people and dogs. Those people were completely unreasonable. They seemed to think the whole world was out to get them. Also, they had no control over their dogs which is why they were upset about everyone else’s dogs. Please pay their review no mind. We all rejoiced when they left the complex haha

I find it rather odd that the biggest money maker on the block won't pay someone to shovel their sidewalks. Rather pathetic if you ask me. I can only assume this trickles down to their maintenance team, or lack thereof.

Lived in carriage crossing from September 2019-mid October 2020. In the beginning things seemed great! After a bit, we began encountering an issue of off leash dogs. We initially tried to avoid the situation, but it became a problem(building K specifically). We actually spoke to an employee that lived on the premises who said herself that her rescue animal has had off leash dogs scare them, so it isn’t exclusive to our building. It began with one neighbor playing fetch in front across the whole building. This is an issue as their dog would literally run on and into our patio! It was not only invasive but would scare us and our dogs. We mentioned this to the management and it would seemingly improve for a few days, but then get worse. We also had another neighbor who would do the same, playing fetch in the back. This was an issue as we had no way to avoid both at times if they were both outside. The first time the dog in the back was playing fetch, he actually ran at us. The owner played it off like his dog was a puppy and it was okay, which it simply is not. We also let management know about this and nothing solved. We had several hostile experiences with this back neighbor, who would not leash their dog even after management spoke to them(though we found out even though one employee would say they would talk to them, another would say days later that nobody contacted the tenant we were complaining about.). This went on for months. We couldn’t have called any less than 50 times telling them of situations, and nothing got better. We were living in a hostile environment where we were scared to take our dogs out, and we’re fearful that we were irritating management of the place we reside. We ultimately decided to leave, and actually ended up moving out and having weeks left on our lease. We asked if we could get out of our lease early due to the hostile situation, and were given what seemed would be a yes, which was of course a no. Upsetting considering we had given them so many chances to mitigate the situation, all the while they would avoid it entirely. I won’t even go deep into our upstairs neighbor who loves to tap dance and drag furniture around on the wood floor 12am-6am, who we told management about as well, and it would seemingly improve until it just got worse. Also a situation where we would be told they would talk to the tenant, and that wasn’t always followed through. And the parking situation...is also an entire mess. Something that wasn’t an issue when we moved in, but became an issue when people seemed to move into 2 bedrooms with 10 people. It came to a point where we had to move our car to keep a guest spot, or we might get home and have no spot! Another thing to consider. I know times are hard for housing right now, but I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone. The stress we went through over this period, and the lack of care the management showed, was saddening to say the least.

Give Erica and Caleb a damn raise. They deserve it. Great office to work with beginning to end.
