Better experience than last time with service but clerk even thought reward points don't expire for a year (false). He was helpful. But the selection and prices are a damn joke Found X-box one games at 5 Below that are $20 here. Games sealed on eBay are nearly half of here a year after release. Controllers even "knock offs" are $60+. Rechargable batteries $16 for a 2 pack. Adorable you think you can compete in the 21st century. Friendly clerk but selection and prices make this place doomed to fail.

Avoid this store. This isn’t an angry customer complaining for one issue. Every time I come to this store they avoid helping at all cost. The worst is the lies they tell. You don’t have to believe this complaint. You can go see for yourself. But you have been warned. And it looks like there are a lot of warnings in these reviews. You would think with all the computers they have,they would want to sell me one. Yeah nah. Camped in computer section. Was asked if needed help. Said yes. Nobody came. After 30 minutes I left.

Back in December 2021 I brought in my laptop for possible repairs. It had to go to the Geek Squad to research the problem. I found out it needed parts from the manufacturer. Now we had to wait on them to send the part, a mother board. It was replaced but my secondary complaint was not improved or gone so now it needed a new touch pad. In all it took about four weeks from leaving it to it coming to me in the mail (the mail was my choice). They kept in contact with me all through the the time they had it. I was so happy to have it back in my hands. It was as if it were new and I had to set it up by connecting it to my WiFi. It connected but the laptop continued to say not connected and at the same time showed it was. I am not electronic savvy, so I had to take it back for help. A young lady helped me and said you need to do this and that - I told her I had , but did it again to show what I meant. She did this and that and was talking Geek as she did it. (I was giggling inside because her Geek Speak may as well have been Greek). I told her I’m not the Dr but a patient so please speak in words and terms I’ll understand. She smiled and backed tracked to tell and show me what she was doing I did come home unsure I would be able to get to my password, but happily I did. I had an extended warranty. I believe extended warranties are always worth it. In the scheme of things I would have had to put a lot of money into it or replace it - either way I would not have been able to do so. Best Buy seems to always be clean, including the parking lot, the employees are friendly saying hello or if the see me checking something out one will stop and ask if I need help, no I’m just looking and I’m left alone. Once I have a question I just wait for an employee to walk by, which happens often. Thanks I a Best Buy for fixing my laptop!

Depends. If it's like an ooma or any phone that works through an ethernet cable (cat6) then you'll be fine. If it one that works through a cat5 cable, then you need to get a modem with voice

At a different Best Buy, I had Geek Squad install both my wall mount and 65" TV. I think you can purchase Best Buy's Geek Squad package, and they'll come install the wall mount and TV for you. I think it might be something like $299 or so? I don't remember. Good luck! PS - I, personally, strongly recommend against installing the wall mount and TV yourself. If Geek Squad does the install, and the whole thing falls off the wall for whatever reason, then you're covered for the loss. But if you install it yourself, you won't have that protection... Something to think about.
That would depend on what's wrong with it and how long it takes to fix, unfortunately it could be less to replace, or trade at like game stop
