Going to Ashwood after my 28 days in rehab at Northpoint helped me get my life back. My sober date is 04/27/2020. As of writing this review, I am now 859 days sober, about 28 months. I struggled with addiction for 12 years before finally choosing to go to rehab and continue with months of intensive outpatient care (IOP). I wasn’t sure I was ready to quit or that I really could, but I was willing to listen and learn. I knew I had lost control of my life and needed professional help to get better. At Ashwood, their staff is exceptional. They are all very caring and supportive. While at Ashwood these are some of the things I did: • Received help with medication management • One on one therapy sessions • Group sessions • Yoga • Art therapy • AA meetings • Drug tests • Meditation • Interacted with peers and made connections • Learned a lot about myself • I learned different coping skills and tools to keep me sober • I learned to be vulnerable and ask for help At Ashwood, I learned valuable information about how trauma and mental health conditions contribute to a desire to drink. Now that I know the root cause of my need to escape, I can address my problems in a healthier way that is not self-destructive. Ashwood listens to your feedback, and they are always working to make things better. The program they have designed is effective because they have a slow step-down process. You start with a lot of therapy at first and slowly do less and less. They help give you a good foundation of sobriety before completing the program. Going to Ashwood was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family.

I didn't attend Ashwood unfortunately but if it's anything like the northpoint facility it is nothing short of amazing. The time I had got to spend at northpoint was a life charger. The staff was always attentive and caring. They had answers for any question I had and never hesitated when someone needed help. Highly recommend
