Besides all of the poop that was on the beach, it was beautiful. Im from South Ga & Our stay was very relaxed & chill. It's a very nice place to visit or have a family gathering.

We recently held our family reunion at Doublehead Resort and used 5 cabins on the rental program. Each cabin was well equipped and the setting was awesome. Our children rented paddle boards and the staff at Doublehead was amazing to work with to insure each cabin was in close proximity. Sunsets on the lake were beautiful and we could not have been happier with our stay. We highly recommend Doublehead for your family reunion, vacation or just a weekend getaway. We are already planning our next stay!!

The cabins were nasty, spiders were crawling around everywhere, lots of spiders wedds,beds was hard as rocks and smelling old .the furniture was nasty and smells ,the stove didn't work had a bring in another one and the oven didn't work . Bad experience had the cabin for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night . Looks good on the outside but awful in the inside. I will never go back ☹

Our family loves the cabins here and try to get one every year during the holidays so we can all be together! Beautiful place.
