Stunned to be charged a fee to cash a check. I didn’t cash it. Maybe I am naive but a check is a promise to pay and now that promised amount has been diminished by incurring a fee. Feels very predatory but maybe that’s the goal.

I have been a member of this credit Union for almost 10 years.. Have applied for car loans twice and a personal loan on yesterday for 3000...and have the funds currently in my account to back the loan and get denied every time.. But I was approved in minutes at another institution in minutes for 3500 with a cheaper interest rate. Got denied there for auto loans and get approved everywhere else. What a waste of my time... Yet I can walk in today and get a holiday express loan for 1000.00 at 18% interest. It is my opinion that your institution is not in business of helping good people but instead trying to make a quick buck. I will be looking for a new credit union.

PrimeWay offers a number of different options for loans. We do small dollar loans, but we usually try to offer a little longer period to repay the loan than traditional payday loans. Of course you can always pay a loan off early with no pre-payment penalties. It is our goal to give you the right payment to help you. So while we offer a variety of options, we don't offer the traditional payday loans, but what we see as a better alternative.
It must be a wrong number they gave out or they were closed. For next time make sure you know that Google Questions are not answered by the owners of the place you questioned but by regular people.
I know the Debit cards can. Not sure about credit cards.
