This is an utter disappointment that after coming here since 2011 I have been treated in a manner no one should have to be. I have been trying to get Epidurals in my back since 2021 they know the Spinal Stenosis Sciatica and chronic pain that I suffer with. They used covid as an excuse for not having a scheduler on hand amongst that no one called me to schedule my epidurals. When I kept calling it was like I was bothering them. I just left there today and the nurse practitioner did nothing for me . I took 3 buses there now taking 3 to get back home. Once again she claims the Scheduler will call me back to get me in for my Epidurals that I should have had last year before my Cervical Spine was fused. Okay Emilee Rutherford if you say so. I am clearly talking to my Orthopedic Doctor my Spine Surgeon my Primary Doctor and all who help with my Chronic Pain about the UNPROFESSIONAL way this place is. I AM IN SEVERE PAIN June 29 , 2022

I went to Penn Pain Management for relief of severe upper left to center back pain. I was given trigger point injections. I did not ask what those injections contained, assuming they were cortisone. The injections (approximately 6) hurt! But as I believed that they would help, it was ok. The next day, the pain was back with a vengeance. I messaged Dr. Southren to inquire about the contents of the injections. I was told that they were NUMBING agents - lidocaine or a similar agent. This was no help at all.

Physicians are very skilled in assessing options, etc. It may take some time to get appointments, especially the first, but that can be typical with many medical specialists. Multiple locations allow flexibility. Thank you Drs. Bell, Gugger, Ashburn, other fellows, PA-C for my quality care! Steven ☝️

I have been in the Penn Medicine Network for 30 years. This is one of the best hospitals in the city. I've had a few complicated orthopedic injuries & the doctors & staff have always been the best & most caring. Facilities are excellent & staff is fantastic.
