If you are hoping they will protect you from a threat - call someone else. I had a contractor in my house swearing at me - calling me c** among other vulgarities and refusing to leave my house. I am female and was alone at the time. They refused to come because the dispacher said it wasn't a direct threat. Standing a foot away from me, trespassing, and refusing to leave does not qualify. If you want them to come - you will have to lie to them about the form of verbal abuse. Verbal abuse is a crime per Idaho Statutes but the police dept. will not honor Idaho statutes.

I made a police report 3 years ago and the police officer that called me back yelled at me for not answering my phone while I was driving. There was video surveillance of a man with a gun pointing at my mother at the Karcher Mall on May 22nd 2019 and I was going to have an event again on the 28th of May and they didn't want to be present for safety of me and other patrons.

Department needs to improve officer communication skills with the public. Some of the rudest, and unfriendliest people you'll probably encounter are NPD, and these guys are armed and supposedly supposed to protect us, doesn't seem like that. Act more like correctional officers dealing with inmates, irregardless of interaction.
