I've veen a customer of Village Bike for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always very helpful. I love my new Specialized Crossroads comfort bike. I highly recommend Village Bike for all your cycling needs. You can't go wrong!

My wife was in the market for a new bike. We went to Village Bike & Fitness in Grandville where I bought my bike a few years ago, and had a very positive experience. We were promptly greeted and shown all the bikes that fit the criteria she had in mind. (Including bikes still in boxes in the back.) As it turned out, the bike she thought she liked was at another store still in the box. They transfered the bike over to Grandville, assembled it, and she was able to test ride it within a couple of days. We bought the bike and after riding it at home noticed a squeak. We took it back and their technician (who is very funny) knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it while we waited. (About 90 seconds) We highly recommend this shop for new bikes and accessories. (Except during pandemics.... but our experience then was a nation wide experience.) Dan and Renee

I wanted to give a shout out to Village Bike and Fitness in Jenison. I recently brought my Specialized road bike in for a tune-up and the service was EXCEPTIONAL! I am beyond impressed by bike mechanic Casey’s knowledge and his attention to detail. During my time in the shop, you could sense employee job satisfaction which is a direct reflection of excellent store management. I would recommend this shop without hesitation to anyone who may need bike/fitness gear and/or service work.

Has great welcoming staff. Very helpful with no pressure giving you the pros and cons on options from accessory’s, bikes, and fitness equipment. They match you to your activity and level, not just pushing a line or product. Thank you!

Questions & Answers

Do you offer bike riding lessons for kids?

I doubt very much that they do. Without training wheels...Start them at the top of a gentle slope and have them coast down with their feet out and not touching the ground, seeing how far they can coast without touching. Repeat. This will help them find their balance and learn to steer. At first they'll be real wobbly and their feet will touch frequently, but they'll build up their distance. Once they've done this enough times that they can coast quite a distance, have them try to pedal once they get going. Before long they'll be pedaling away.

How much does a repair cost?

That really depends on what you need done and whether or not you need parts. If you bring your bike in, they will be able to give you an estimate.

Do you have a stand to make a reg.bike stationary? And how much is the price, Thank you,

They have them (I don't work there), but they vary in price depending on what options you want. Also, if you are going to do that, you should ask about a trainer tire. Its a special tire when using a bike trainer.
