I hadn't been here in years but so glad I had a chance to pop back in. They are of course on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for and they have high-quality, comfortable shoes. The staff was very helpful and patient.

A friend and I drove a great distance to visit Guarantee Shoe Center. I wanted to learn about the 3D scanner and to utilize it. The store itself was very nice with a large inventory of orthopedic and comfortable shoes, accessories, leather goods, etc. When we arrived, on a Monday afternoon [08-29-22], there were two employees present. No one came to help us. We milled around aimlessly for at least 20 minutes. We attempted to use the 3D scanner...no one came to assist us. The man, who appeared to be the manager was behind the front desk. He was giggling on what appeared to be a personal phone call - most of the time. When the woman finally came over, she said she didn't know how to use the scanner, then walked away. During the time we were in the store, there were only 1-2 other customers. The female employee spent most of her time with the other customers or walking about. A very nice store with an expensive and en pointe inventory. Practically no assistance from the personnel. I had hoped to consult someone who would assist me in choosing footwear. I had hoped to learn a lot from the 3D scanner and use it for my benefit. What a waste of store resources. What a waste of our time, gas, etc. When the the two employees finally started to pay us a little attention (toward the end of our visit), I was over it. By that time, I was becoming resolved not to buy anything - just because. I tried on a few pair of shoes, they didn't have my size in the pair I wanted anyway. The boxes of shoe inserts I was interested in appeared to have been opened and tried on by others severals times. This is why many people don't bother visiting stores anymore.The inventory is limited, and the personnel are under- qualified or disinterested. Visiting Guarantee Shoe Center was a frustrating experience.
