I had made an error on my mail-in ballot signature line (stupid; don’t ask) and so was notified to call this office. The person picked up the phone on the first ring and was as pleasant as anyone I’ve ever come across! We determined the error and fixed it within a couple minutes and I was on my way. Yay for Sac County Elections!

Feel confident my ballot was delivered and vote counted. Was able to drop off inside.

I have worked as part of the election day team for more than a decade. I have also run for local office. From either perspective this office has been great to work with.

The parking here was horrendous when I went in to vote and I waited almost 30 minutes to get my ballot. Service was friendly and helpful but the experience was stressful. I suppose that's just how it's goes though.

Questions & Answers

How can I find out whether my vote counted in the April primary this year (2020)?

Deanna J Marquart | Sep 25, 2020
Andy Ping | Sep 25, 2020

Hi, Deanna. You can visit the county site and look at your current election information. At the bottom there's a drop down to look at your voting record. It will just tell you that you voted and your party affiliation if any. I just did it to make sure and here's the link. https://pollingplacelookupen.saccounty.net/LookupPollingPlace_VoterFound.aspx If you have trouble with that one, use this: https://elections.saccounty.net/ElectionInformation/Pages/InfoUpcomingElect.aspx And choose "My Election Information." It will ask for your house number, zip code and birthdate to find your record, but it does not ask for or identify you by name so far as I can see.

How can I get a replacement ballot? I have not mailed my original yet and want to change my vote!
