This friendly, supportive group are happy to help those in need to provide food assistance, prayer and job assistance seeking services during difficult times for local families. They helped my household during the COVID-19 crisis and have been nothing but a joy to work with and treat me like a human being going through a rough patch who needs a friendly hug from my community and not a beggar or peddler wandering and asking for change and handouts. Either way and if I was, I think I would get the same treatment from them which is empathy for my situation, support from their organization, kindness through their wonderful humanity and generosity with an enthusiastic staff and volunteers ready to help, and their willingness to selflessly help another during this time of personal crisis to ensure that all of us do not go hungry. Support this organization. Easy registration for those who need assistance.

Christian Help has been here for as long as I can remember. I’ve never used their services till last week. Going 3 weeks without a paycheck and needed some food. 20 minute wait and answering a few household questions I was able to get 2 boxes of food. Blessing for sure. They also provide other services with job assistance, resumes, and community service.

You will need a passport or state id/license as well as a bill to provide proof of residency.
No walk in Tues thru Fri 930 to 2
We don't carry baby items, but to receive food you need photo i.d. and proof of residency, like a utility bill.
I volunteer in the food pantry every week. I don't know the number of people getting paid, but it is small. Today we had at least 14 volunteers working in the pantry, one salaried person. Food is given out to approximately 300-500 needy families every week. We get food from Publix, Walmart, Target, Chamberlain, Sav-a-lot, BJ's.
I went there to get help with my resume. While I was there they asked if I wanted to take advantage of the food bank, I said sure since what little income I have can go towards paying other bills that are necessities like water and electricity. Once they give you a quick assessment with a counselor, you can get food from them every 2 weeks for 3 months. If you don't get it in that time you will lose, however you can have someone with a copy of your driver's license pick up the food for you. After 3 months you must wait either 9 months or a year I'm not sure which until you can get their assistance again. The food benefits that they offer are basically short term to help those who are looking for employment. If you still need assistance after that there are many other food banks located all around the Orlando area that will help you.
If you're talking about food yes, and the only way to do that is if you go in for employment purposes. If you go in just to get food you can only do it once a year but if you go in seeking help with employment such as writing a resume or whatever you can go back more than once I'm not sure the frequency though
I agree with calling them they will direct you. All the staff are knowledable & will pray with you. My counselor there was Ann Courtney. She is awesome & so loves the Lord & filled eith His wisdom. Be at peace. God will direct your next step thru these Godly believers who truly care. His blessings to you Kris in your new life.
Its better to go somewhere else for food help and career help, it was a very bad experience. And for me, with all of their resume help, all they would do is reference jobs from the local unemployment center, jobs I had already looked at, that didnt pay worth a damn and was a hell of a far distance to drive!! Complete waste of time.....
No, they don't....you are better off with contacting someone at Seminole County...
