I haven’t dealt with this office directly but I see the product Of This department in my local police department where the chief is a transfer from Tulare county I live in morro bay where Chief Jonathan Jody Cox is in charge and makes it very clear that’s so. He ok’d sending in a false scar report only because I had filed a complaint on another Tulare county alumnus Domingo Florez. I was also harassed by Domingo florez’ son in law who’s an officer at morro bay PD , officer painter, he told me he was recording a conversation on the phone we were having and said he was going to use it to press charges on me Chief cox waited 2 months before he filed said report and when I asked for an investigation because their officer lied in the report he assigned the same officer who wrote the initial reports to investigate it. Pretty shameful you teach that you can get away with anything once you’re in charge

My elderly father didn't come home one night and when we reported him missing they responded very quickly, professionally, and compassionately. He was found safe and sound, and they were in constant communication with our family. I can't express enough just how amazing they were and how quickly they responded. I don't usually write reviews, but in the midst of such bad press against law enforcement, I just had to post this to show it's not all bad. They were awesome!
