Called to have faucet repaired. Eric was here within an hour. Fixed my problem, and also installed 2 new shutoff valves for supply lines. “Eric” was great! Very knowledgeable, gave me good advice concerning my faucet. Very pleased with the entire experience. * Got here very quickly * Great work (craftsmanship) * Very professional, would or will hire again. Richard Nichols

If I could leave NO STARS I would. Came out and couldn't get drain unclogged and still wanted me to pay them for FULL service NOT completed (not just a service call) ... another Company (AMERICAN DRAIN ) came out and had drain open in less than 5 min.

New water heater install ($2k) today - the tank had a large dent on the top that we were only told about after the install was completed, leaving no option to rectify. No discount was offered. As you can see from the photos, the brand new tank installed was not cleaned of dirt and debris from the install. Solder drips were left uncleaned on the floor in the utility room, as well as on the concrete of our back porch. Technician was the most unprofessional contractor we have encountered.

Questions & Answers

Are chemical drain cleaners safe to use?

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton | Sep 24, 2020
Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton | Sep 24, 2020

The long and short of it is, no. Chemical drain cleaners tend to be highly toxic and come with various warning labels. They can also be dangerous to have in a household with pets and children who might get into the bottle. The chemicals can also damage your pipes. Just as they dissolve your clogs, they can dissolve the inside of your plumbing. There are alternatives to chemical drain cleaners, such as enzymes and bacteria that will eat the biological material blocking your drains. If you need immediate help clearing a clog or cleaning your drains, give us a call!

Why does my toilet keep running?

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton | Sep 24, 2020
Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton | Sep 24, 2020

If your toilet keeps running, it’s usually a problem with the flapper not closing or sealing around the flush valve. If jiggling the handle a little doesn’t fix the issue, it could be that the flapper has worn out and needs to be replaced.
