AE Door & Window replaced a garage door for us at KW Mechanical last Friday and we cannot say enough good things about the 2 men who worked on this job. They were both respectful, hardworking and cleaned up their entire mess before leaving. The garage door looks great!

We had previously used AE Door and Window for a garage door repair, with great results, and price. When I needed a new patio door they seemed like a safe, local, and quality choice. We could not have been more wrong. My wife ordered the door with Paul (who came to our house to do measurements) on August 23rd, 2021. She was quoted 12 weeks due to supply chain (understandable.) The door came in early in about 9 weeks. Great news. The install day came and all seemed well; then my wife came home and said where's the new trim we paid for? This was another couple of months wait as it wasn't ordered. Then ordered wrong. Finally that got installed. The new trim wasn't sealed tightly like the original trim; I had to re-caulk it. The reason the trim was ordered was damage to the original trim (before door change) and the new trim had a nice big ding in it, which wasn't noticed immediately (all white.) We thought we'd just live with that to be done. But fast forward till 2022 and it's cold finally and we discover air pouring in the bottom of the door. AE was called and a service tech came out. He looked a few minutes and said he needed the company rep to look because he couldn't adjust it more. That rep was supposed to call the next Monday to schedule. No call. I called AE back on Tuesday. Oh, the tech is out sick and didn't turn in his paperwork, we'll contact mfg and schedule something in a day or two. No call. Called back Friday. Oh, still don't have the paperwork? Why do you need it? Call the mfg! In the meantime, I've got a very expensive brand new door leaking more air than my 30 year old one. So if you are looking for new doors or windows, look elsewhere. AE Door & Window in years past was pleasant and on-top of stuff, but not anymore. I constantly have had to chase them and ask for status and attention. It has been so bad I asked for a comp and they said no. Five months in I still don't have a satisfactory install.

Paid a boatload for a couple of cheap doors!!!!!! (Special order)Then while being poorly installed we started complaining not to mention damaged doors. The salesman and owners son came out and was defending everything obvious and didn’t have a leg to stand on. Then my 77-year-old father-in-law got Close to him telling him how wrong he was he showed my father-in-law backwards getting aggressive. Believe any poor review you happen to see about this company. The salesman was the only nice guy but he is getting a paycheck from the company so he hast to act in there respect. The company deserves no respect at all just a lousy bunch of no good for nothings. I wish I could leave more information about my contact because I could prove what I say.
