I always love the films shown at the state! The venue is relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are extremely helpful and always greet you with a big smile and a friendly "hello".

Renovated with quality furnishings and cushy seats this beautiful theater is a one of a kind experience. Even when you get some concessions treats it feels personable and warm. The decor in the theater is is delightful and invokes the magic of cinemas from the Golden Era of cinema.

I don't think so. They didn't ask us to put them on and lots were without them.
It's a piece of the early 60's history that keeps the true graffiti era alive. My parents cruzed 9th Street and went to the movies there at that original, now restored to it's original glory. It plays new, old, documentaries, and great concerts of all generes, which in turn it gets people out and about to mingla which in turn brings patrons downtown to bring revenue to all the GREAT shops, restaurants in the area. It's truly a great contribution the our city of Modesto. They have a wonderful concession stand to get all your movie condements, and a great selection of beers, mixed drinks. To many good shows, musicians we've seen over the years to list. Check out March events eagles tribute,Beatles and 60's tribute in first half March. Check it out. I Promise you won't be disappointed 😊
Behind the Cafe of New York. After a excellent dinner at this restaurant you can enjoy the venue's show.
Its mostly on-street parking. Ive not heard of any validations. There are also lots around the theater you can park in for later shows when surrounding businesses are closed.

It's open however very limited hours.....
Depends on the kid. It's pretty heavy on the drama, especially regarding the father's PTSD from war. There are a lot of sudden loud noises and brief flashbacks to battle. Not full of the warm fuzzy feelings that Winnie the Pooh is known for. Depending on the kid, it might upset them, or bore them.
online and at the booth.
From noon to 3:00 PM, M-F, and a half hour before films.
