Lennar community is very quit and a great place to live. The lennar builder on the other hand cuts corners in their building. And the field supervisor says they are going to take care of issues and still having to come out of pocket 2 yrs later to fix my poorly built house. The insta hot water heater was ran with wrong wiring. The wire size is too small. After 2 yrs in house, still can't use hot water in 2 fixtures at the same time. The breaker still trips. Lennar came out several times and adjusted the gpm. And still trips. Poor builder and will never recommend Lennar to anyone.

I gave Lennar a $15k deposit, according to the lending department, I will receive about $8k back after closing next month. The VA made a mistake and did not pay me my disability for the month of September. So, I called lennar requesting a small portion of my deposit due to this VA error, and needing to financially survive for the month of September. For 6 days straight I was given the run around, I was told to prove that the VA did not pay me, and I proved it. I was told that my refund would take 3-4weeks if it was approved. Over and over again I requested for Joel (the sales manager) to call me. After 6 days, joel calls me and tells me that I have already been told by Alan (the representative who first assisted me) that the decision is No. That lennar does not care if a veteran is going through a crisis, they will not refund a portion of the $8000, even though I close in a month and this financial burden can affect my mortgage. Alan had never told me it was not approved. For six days my husband and I have been stressing out on how to make ends meet while the VA fixes the mistake. I will find a way to make ends meet, with that being said, I will also spread the news on how lennar treats disabled veterans, how they use tactics to delay a process, how they block calls and ignore text messages. This has also caused me to try to go through a different lender. I am that upset. I am upset for the way we've been treated and manipulated. I truly wish I was not locked in this contract and if I have to I will look for ways to get out of it. I will not stand for a company who treats veterans this way.
