My repair experience was exceptional, First I bought my Frigidaire refrigerator from Sears a few years ago, so my original warranty had expired, my ice maker stopped working, so I called sears, and purchased a 3 year warranty protection for the Frigidaire, the same day I was able to set up an appt for a repair technician to come to service the refrigerator, refrigerator was repaired, WE HAD ICE, all was good, about 3 months into this protection agreement, the refrigerator had a diode that went bad in the back of the refrigerator, so NO ICE, sears tech ordered the part, it came in, the service had been scheduled, tech came and viola, we had ICE, you don't really appreciate something until you don't have it, or you have to go out to buy ice, this was an exceptional experience, thank you sears for offering a appliance repair service to your customers, mary wagner

Service man was cordial. He explained everything he did and even gave me tips to maintain my appliance

A seasoned repairman and a trainee showed up. Took more time training than repairing the machine. Cell coverage was poor for their phone and as a result when I tried to pay it took a number of tries and my provider considered the attempts to be fraudulent and turned off my credit card. Other than the fact that the machine is now working as it should, paying almost $300 for a $40 part and service was not appropriate, but necessary to make the machine work. Perhaps just sending one technician and one vehicle would have saved the company the additional costs that they added to my bill.
