Years ago I was freezing in the stands watching my oldest learn to skate. Today I'm freezing in the stands watching my younger two. I am so impressed with the coaches and the organization overall. My middle, 7, is not exactly athletic, but the coaches are patient, yet firm so he tries. In 3 weeks he has made great progress from holding tight to the blue helper thing to skating independently, with a tiny bit of confidence. All without tears! My youngest is a natural at 5, her class keeps her challenged so she keeps getting stronger on her skates. The cost is so reasonable, and being able to do one session at a time makes it an easier commitment to take on before you're sure if your child will continue. Class sizes are large enough to keep costs affordable but not so large as to be overwhelming. Each class has an assistant or two, and they're able to work with kids that need a bit extra. It's such a wonderful program, can't recommend enough!
