Lovely small English Cottage restaurant. Eat in typically warn subdued rooms, on the sunny patio, or on the lawn. Right next to Muir Beach and only a few miles from Muir Woods. The menu is a little short on variety, but the food good.

Stayed at the inn and ate dinner and breakfast there. Pros are the environment is exactly as disheveled as you'd want an English beach pub to be. The ambiance is great. Food and drink selection are great too. Being so close to the beach and getting a private parking spot if you stay the night is really nice. Room was nice and getting a special hangout with the other room hotel guests was very fun. Cons are they need more employees I'd guess but the servers that are there are great. The location drives up the prices. And we did not get the full English breakfast that was advertised.

We stayed here on memorial Day and the hotel itself was very nice and the location half mile from the beach was perfect. My problem was that they were severely understaffed. They weren't ready when we came to check in and they only had one person working the bar and to check people in. So while the employee was checking us in that there was at least 10 people waiting to order drinks at their bar. While the food and drinks was pretty good it was also advertised that we would get a full English breakfast the next morning as part of the room deal starting at 8:00. So we Head down to the patio at 8:00 and there was absolutely no one working in the hotel there was no one in the kitchen there was no one checking people out it was ridiculous. Finally an employee shows up around 8:30 and we didn't get our breakfast till a little after 9:00. I'm sure this place would be better if it had more staff but I was not impressed with how that place was run.

Such a cute little pub with really great outdoor areas perfect for a sunny day. We had the beef Wellington and I will dream about it, it was so delicious. Great drinks although I would stick to the beer and wine. The cocktails were just ok. On top of all of that the staff was friendly and knew what they were doing. This will be a spot for us to come to again and again.
