Morehead Rest Area

Alert!! Eastbound rest area between Morehead and Ashland, a large gentleman (possibly from Virgin Islands??) chatting up with elderly persons, asking for name and phone numbers? I'm wondering if man still there or if others have experienced same.

OK, one problem tho. I'm handicapped, they did a nice job clearing the snow and salting outside. Yay. But, having 1 leg inside was tough. Water on the floor made it impossible to use my cane. Suggestion, take a dry mop over the floor, instead of putting up Danger Wet Floor. It may protect you from an Insurance Claim, but drying the floor is a more humane way to help avoid falls. Thank you for giving this your consideration. D

Very clean inside and out. Well maintained inside and out. Beautiful setting. I live here in Kentucky, so I am kinda partial to our amenities here in our state. I drive a truck over the road and this drive from Western Kentucky over to the West Virginia line is one of my favorite drives. The scenery is beautiful no matter what time of the year it is. Great, peaceful, restful stop!! Thanks staff for a clean, well maintained rest stop!!!

One of Kentucky's pretty rest areas along the 64 corridor. Usually very clean and well maintained. Restrooms are in working order to include hot water. A number of places to sit outside and walk about for a break.
