I've gone to this Bel Air market since it moved to Gold River from Fair Oaks over 20 years ago. While prices are higher, it's comparable and sometimes cheaper than Walmart, Safeway, or Smart & Final--I've price shopped comparisons. The are much nicer here than San Juan and Madison. I trust the freshness and quality of its produce and meat, often talking with its butchers about special cuts of meat and its seafood. Most clerks are friendly and helpful with an occasional insensitive or rude one, but I shrug that off. This is the busiest Bel Air in Sacramento. I frequent the deli and bakery because I know items are fresh and done well. I've used the pharmacy for over 20 years and although sometimes they can be rude, I shrug it off, they are efficient. No place is perfect, but this is the best market I've found for quality, freshness, and friendliness.

The only reason this location is still open is because of the convenience. HIGH PRICES! Can’t believe what I saw! Hardly even stocked. It’s poorly managed, I even spoke with the manager Ron who was disgustingly rude disrespectful and should be working the parking lot push carts. He clearly has no sense of customer service or knowledge of how to run a grocery store. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS. I’ll be taking my business a bit further down the road.
