I filed 2 claims in July 2022 abd it still has not processed. Every time I call Tripmate for an update on claim status the representatives can't tell me anything. When I ask for a manager I am told that none are available. When I have asked for a manager to call me back no one does. Staring to feel that this company and their process are a rip off/scam. I would not recommend anyobe to purchase travel insurance through Tripmate as they do not follow through on coverage and/or reimbursement.

Horrible, horrible horrible, I would give 5 negative stars if I could. I filed a claim 6/29, our flights were changed on the way to Jamaica by the airline and had to spend the night in Chicago, Beaches stated it would be considered Trip Delay and we would be covered for the hotel room we had to book. We then contracted COVID while at Beaches and had to change our return flights due to quarantine requirements. Received a notification from TripMate on 8/2 stating they required more information, which I provided everything I had, AGAIN and AGAIN...THREE times. Still no communication to this date. I might just well write off getting reimbursed for the $1,400.00 and lesson learned. Booked for Beaches again and declined trip insurance, don't waste your money, your claim will remain in limbo and most likely will be denied. You can't even call them to discuss the issue. What a racket.

SCAM. FRAUD. The day after we booked our trip, trip mate called me and sold me insurance telling me we could cancel for any reason no questions asked. That is a lie. My son got covid. We home tested and canceled. Not good enough. He had to be tested by a doctor and there have to be lab results. Will never use them again

See previous review, I am experiencing the same problems. They asked for additional information 30 days after I submitted my claim on June 3rd which I sent in right away. I was informed that it would take an additional 30 days to process it. It is now September 7th called today now they tell me that they need additional information. If you read the reviews you will see that this company just gives you the run around. My next step is to contact Collette Travel Company to see if they can help. Stay away from this company.
