We visited Mission Med Vet last night for a minor paw injury at the recommendation of our primary vet due to concerns for pain and infection. They got us into a room right away and we waited about 20 minutes before a tech came to evaluate. After that they took him back to be treated and the vet came to speak with me. I wish I got the Vets name (pink scrubs, brown hair) but she was so so so nice and understanding of our concerns with pain and infection! They got our pup all cleaned up and we were out of there within the hour. Loved that they give the meds on-site so you don’t have to go to a separate pharmacy. Our total was $175, which seemed very fair for an after hours assessment, wound cleaning + removing some excess skin + two prescriptions. We will definitely use them again for any emergencies in the future.

Took my dog to Mission Vet Emergency after hours due to wounds she suffered after getting into it with her sister. We were met at the door with a gurney and ushered right in. Charges were explained to us in detail. Staff was very compassionate. We would highly recommend Mission Vet for all your emergency needs!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Wilson and staff! We were greeted with a smile every appointment and Dr. helped us get through a TPLO knee surgery for our Lab. There is a animal eye and allergy specialty care clinic next door to Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital on 110th St in Overland Park, Ks. They are not cheap but have excellent eye care there. Dr. Sturgeon is super. Mission Vet.Is animal ER life and death type care. The same as Blue Perarl. I might add they are excellent with their services also.

This is more of like an ER vet. The cost would vary based upon what is happening with your pet. Not to take away from these vets if you are needing routine care, spay/neuter, shots etc. I would suggest going to a traditional vet.
They do, they had brochures in the waiting room when we were there.
