Couldn't ask for a better maintenance crew, especially if there happens to be an emergency in the middle of the night. Thank you guys ;-)

The neighbors are nice and rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for. The manager is difficult to work with, treats most everyone like they are an inconvenience, and maintenance requests take forever to complete (sometimes months to complete). They micro manage EVERYTHING that goes on. And moving in and out of that place is a nightmare. Equity? That is all lost by the insane amount of 30 years worth of "repairs" that they charge you for when you move out. They replaced our carpet, and also charged us to have the carpet cleaned? Uh. Why? We also fixed all the holes and walls upon move out, AND put down a layer of primer so we wouldn't be charged for extra coats. They charged us almost $2000 for wall repair, primer, and 2 coats of paint. 😡😡😡 You are also responsible for paying rent and utilities until someone moves in. Their application process is insanely slow, and the income requirements are crazy...so finding someone to move in is like finding a needle in a haystack. They need an easier and faster way to determine if someone is eligible or not. Its a very frustrating process. I would recommend moving there for the neighbors, but that's the only great thing about that place.

Living there was great. Nice neighborhood, great area, and very quiet. Moving out is the part that isn't nice at all. The website lists one of the benefits of living in a co-op is the equity and making money on it while living there. What they don't say is that they take a huge portion of it away when you move out. And even if you move out and it takes them a month or more to paint the unit and clean the carpets you have to pay rent and utilities for that time until the new tenant moves in. This was our problem and we were told because the paint in our unit was dark that it took a month to paint. And you can't paint yourself because you run the risk of it not being done according to their standards and having to pay to have it done anyways. They make it very difficult to move out. Never moving back!
