I work in property and asset management and this is one of the worst properties I’ve ever seen. I lived here for one year and it was one year too long. Mary, the property manager is deaf to complaints, there is non-stop employee turnover so maintenance requests are missed for weeks or months if you don’t hound the main office. When I first moved in here was a large water issue causing my apartment to smell from the day I moved in, and after the first rain the whole east side was soaked. We found mold issues and I had to change units but Mary and the team made me move my own stuff despite the negligence in their end knowing of the issues but still letting me move in. Then the condition of the unit was awful when I moved in, which a staff member later admitted to me they didn’t do a make ready inspection before I moved in. Stay away from the complex, my lease was up last week but they still will not do a final inspection so who knows if or when I get my deposit back. Even corporate at Cohen Esrey will not respond to my emails.

Great location, cool amenities such as two saunas, two swimming pools, bark park, awesome playground and more. Super helpful office staff always willing to go the the extra mile to solve issues. LeeAnn is the best!

Don't live here. The cost of these apartments are extremely high and the standards are extremely low. The management does not care about the residents and it shows. When I say we never had air conditioner while living in this apartment I am not exaggerating. We submitted countless work orders in the time we lived there, as well as calling and going to the office to speak with them, and rarely ever saw a maintenance man. After a few months they gave us a mobile unit that only kept the bedroom cool and the rest of the house stayed in the high 70s or 80s consistently. We thought winter would provide some comfort at least, but the poorly insulated windows and the ancient heater failed as well. We had to purchase our own mobile heater just to stay warm. When we moved in the apartment was filthy, the last residents old trash was still in the apartment, mold was under the sinks, and hair was everywhere. The toilet was ancient and barely worked, and the sewer must have backed up right under the apartment because it always smelled strongly of sewage. We had loud neighbors who often dropped trash on our patio. If you want to pay an extremely high rent and get nothing in return, Perry 81 is for you. Otherwise, keep looking.

Friend put in a maintenance request last month and still haven’t heard back. It is the end of July already and he has had to live with a leaky ceiling in the bathroom. Filed a maintenance request, called and left voice mails, but still no response. So unless you want to clean dirty water off your floors for a while I wouldn’t stay here.

Some buildings have four units, several have six, and a few go higher, but I don't know how many in the largest.
They are opened on Saturdays
