I’m from Germany and called ahead to make an appointment before I flew into NYC for vacation as I read about the shop in a blog. Was asked to give my credit card information to hold the reservation.
Once I get there at the time of my appointment, the receptionist speaks so quietly, I can barely hear a word. Telling me there’s no booking under my name. When I kept asking questions, she didn’t care to answer or assist me at all. She made NO additional effort to find my booking after just asking for my name once.
What did they take my credit card info for?! I double checked the number I called just to make sure but yes, it was the shop’s number. Now instead of getting a hair cut, I have to call my bank to protect my account.
Do NOT give them your credit card info! It doesn’t guarantee a reservation or appointment! I feel SCAMMED! I truly wasted my time for this.

They do trim ends and treat natural hair. It's best to go in for a consultation and they can assess what treatments and how much to cut and how to style

Yes, they do i was scared at first but after my first time I kept going back because they are that good. And they let you understand the health of your hair and how you can better keep it when it's pressed.
Be careful because they will say yes they can and the particular stylist may NOT be able to execute the style. Ask for the recommended stylist for that style.

They do all kinds of hairstyles on natural hair all depending on what it is you want done specifically. I have locks so I got a retwist and style at the weave lounge across the street from natural sisters. My daughter got her hair done at natural sister's and got knotless braids. If you're looking for a silk press i think weave lounge is the place for you. Both places are owned by the same people i hope this is helpful.

That I'm not sure about I got jumbo braids. When I was there I didnt see anybody getting there hair silk pressed. Sorry I couldn't help you.
Do their stylists know how to relax old bleached and colored hair ?
They are reasonably priced I do a wash and flex rods for $65 so it should be cheaper. Most natural hair people do a silk press instead of wash and set.

Hi, well when I got my hair silk press I had no damage to my curl pattern. When i washed my hair two weeks later and my curl pattern was fine.

I like Natural Sisters. The atmosphere is awesome & the stylists are very professional. I trust my hair care to them. With that said, I'll let you know that they're a bit on the pricey side (but that's me comparing them to stylists from Atlanta where I used to live). I've never been disappointed with Natural sisters
Hair isnt included, you can buy it from them for ~$5 per pack or just stop around the corner at the one of the hair stores and buy the brand you like. Costs depends on length and braid size. They have general cost online. But its better to stop in to see the example for specific pricing so you're not surprised. Or you can send a photo of what you want and they'll give you a price.
