My wife and I were both US Marines and now RNs, we expect discipline out of our children. Master Sung definitely meets the standards of discipline that we want for our child so she can be successful in life. He also incorporates fun into the lessons. Once COVID restrictions are lifted, I would definitely recommend USTT in La Quinta. Every punch, kick, or any other self defense technique is thoroughly evaluated by Master Sung. Anyone who has children, they would benefit from this school. I have my daughter in ballet, tap dance, soccer and Tae Kwon Do, her favorite is Tae Kwon Do. Even if you’re not a participant, Master Sung and his instructors make you feel apart of their family. All of his instructors and students are respectful no matter who you are. This place is a great Taekwondo school. I've been going to this school for 2 years now. I am a school teacher for 6 years now. Based on my experiences as a teacher and my observations of all the Taekwondo classes I've been helping out, Master Sung and all other instructors genuinely care about their students' improvements in Taekwondo skills. They are enthusiastic, energetic, and encouraging. Each class is a well-organized learning climate. Students know expectations and routines in being here to practice Taekwondo and develop other life skills such as discipline, cooperation, self-esteem, respect, and ...etc... I have seen students from white belts and how they have tremendously improved in Taekwondo skills and other skills such as self-esteem. I am glad that I have chosen to come to this school and be a part of this family. I highly recommend this school. Thank you Master Sung, Mr. M, and other instructors.
