They have a nice selection of sci-fi books, new to old, including a lot of hard to find older paperbacks. I picked up a Frank Herbert book of stories.

A sci-fi jewel among the Sun Alley Shops, a book store managed by someone who actually looks like a cowboy. Mind the occupancy sign, keep your mask on and your hands clean, and inside you’ll find a treasure trove of sci-fi paperback classics, and more where they came from (apparently). One gets the sense that the cowboy started the shop because there was nothing else to do with his extensive personal library. He knows his stuff and supports the local desert writing community by hosting their magazines and producing unique works from public domain entities. If this sounds good to you, you won’t be disappointed.

The bibliophile in me, hidden by the soft glow of the cell phone screen for far too long, jumped for joy when i found this haven of Sci-fi. Jean-Paul, the owner and an author in his own right, is knowledgeable and helpful. If you are a devout sifi enthusiast, you should not let this place pass you by!
