You can use our tax dollars to provide FREE FOOD all year long to strangers' children but you can't provide a decent NORMAL library service like resetting a password online and make us CALL YOU then NOBODY IS THERE TO ANSWER THE PHONE, TANYA HUFF???

We do take books but it depends on how old and if we already have it on hand. Another good source is the used book depot for the Friends of the Library for donations.

Yes, but you'd need to go inside and request a non-resident card. There is a fee of $10 for 3 months.
To qualify for a resident (free) card, it would require proof of a 6 month lease, as mentioned above. However, if you want a non-resident card, they can be obtained with a fee. 3 month - 10$ 6 month - 20$ 12 month - 30$
Go into the library and the main circle desk as soon as you get to the main security panel doors is where you speak with someone. You need 1 form of ID showing you live in Indian River county. Your state ID will do. It only takes about 5 minutes to fill out the form and get your card. Just go into the library and it's the first main desk you see in the middle of the room.
Yes follow William Woods basic instructions above. As long as you have an IRC library card #, you can get access to about 7 genealogy databases. Also, they gave 1-1 teachers Tues & Thurs afternoons, if you can do that. Do have to call you apptmt or come in Mon-Fri 9-5 to Gen. Room upstairs for more help.

Just walk by and ignore them if you want to. It is shelter from the weather for them. This is nothing in comparison to other places for instance go to L.A. Just remember that it could always be worse. Have a great day.
I'm not sure what you mean by senior activities. Main library has an art club. The Brackett Library and the North County library have many more events listed for adults. Check them out on the website.
Yes you can. You have to click on the catalog link on the library web page and then login to your account. You will then be able to renew your books.
They have some travel videos on Italy. They might be longer than 15 minutes.
