Thursday lunch seemed to be the best time to go to the Mitten. Not very busy and the service was unbelievably fast. Got a flight 1 minute after we sat down and the pizza arrived in 10 minutes after that. Pizza was fantastic, too. Great crispy and chewy crust. Having worked in a pizzeria, i have a high bar for brewery pizza which is usually less than stellar. This surpassed all expectations. And the brews were good, too. If youre gonna do pizza and beer in Saugatuck, do it here.

First time here as a visitor from St. Louis, Mo. Very clean and well kept area. Staff extremely pleasant, informative, and attentive. Now, the food. Specifically came for a flight of pizza, where u can try 4 different kinds of pizza which comes to a 12” size. I’m a regular, Italian kind of pizza gal. Not to adventurous in pizza. What an adventure it was … all four kinds were excellent. Hard to pick a favorite, so very unique. Now the beer..,after exploring a flight of beer, was very good , smooth beer. I’m a brown beer sort of gal and the Nito / Black Betsy coffee stout got a 4.5 stars. I have never given a 5 star beer. Triple Crown Brown, the same. In touring my flight.. the IPA’s 👍. A definite return to here!

Gluten Free pizza was decent, which is about as good as you can expect from a gluten free pizza. The beer was good. There is a dog friendly outdoor area, but dogs are not allowed indoors.
