The staff was amazing. We watched the service staff get yelled at by their owner’s wife for over 30 minutes at the end of the night. The group I was with approached the table commenting on how great the servers were. The owner’s wife continued to say “Oh, You can hear me reprimanding them?” as she rolled her eyes. Another member of my party commented on how she treated the staff. She said “You don’t ever need to come back !” That’s certainly a successful way to run a business…That is a completely disrespectful way to treat those that work for you and could be addressed in another way and also another time! As hard as the labor market is, if she continues to address employees and customers like that Limoncello will not be in business long. Im disgusted by the behavior I saw tonight as someone that has worked in high end hospitality sectors.

The restaurant is beautiful I especially loved that the entire staff was dressed in black but I’m livid that we had to wait outside in pouring rain because our 5 pm reservation meant this restaurant refused to open their doors until 510 pm. There were about 5 couples also waiting outside and the staff inside were clearly available happy and active while we were all caught outdoors in the rain. No apologies just finally unlocking the doors at 510pm. Not a single staff member explained why no one was allowed into the foyer or bar before 5. Everyone waiting with us were equally angry. Too bad because this restaurant is otherwise incredible. I won’t be returning. Their policy of keeping the doors locked till 510 is ridiculous. It’s arrogant.
