I went to them yesterday Monday 6/22/20 and spoke to the lifeguards. I was informed that they are looking at possibly August. There is no water in the pool at all at this time. They have to wait for code enforcement to make sure it is safe to operate.

I am not aware of night swimming classes. However, you should contact JFK center Mike Garrett offers beginners level 1 class on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:15. Mike is an excellent instructor.
