The caregivers are really not that bad. My wife enjoys their company. But as far as doing household chores, they are lazy and will do what they can to avoid it. The office staff is a completely different story. They cannot manage a schedule and admitted to me that they take on more clients than they have the staff to cover. The person I've spoken with over the phone the most with refuses to take ownership of them not showing up when they are supposed to, and will only offer excuses and half attempted apologies. Yet the lack of coverage still remains. As the spouse of a disabled person, these agencies are supposed to be here for me as much as they are for the patient I cannot get a job because my employer wouldn't be able to count on me. I have had to reschedule my doctor appointments because Senior Solutions can't get their act together. If you are looking for assistance with the care of a loved one, do yourself a favor and find an individual instead of an agency. You will be a whole lot happier and have less stress.
