Furnaces are not that common in South Florida, however if you have one, try to use it at least once a year and get it serviced for maintenance before use it. The average lifetime of a Furnace is around 10 years, so after that, would be really advisable to replace it.
If your coil (indoor unit) or line set (copper lines) are getting frozen, there may be couple reasons: 1) Any of your coils (indoor or outdoor) has a freon leak. 2) Your A/C has low refrigerant levels. 3) Your coil is extremely dirty. 4) Wrong A/C size or match up. In any case, you should call us for servicing/cleaning your unit and diagnose the issue.
