For dogs and cats look up LaPaws, the nasty old pound got renovated and now it's a really nice no kill shelter. They have a room where cats roam around freely and all kinds of neat stuff. You can also check VIVA if you specifically want a cat. Besides supplies what PetCo can do is get you cheap vaccinations. They have shot clinics every month or so and they're cheaper than going to the vet, though if you're bringing a cat you'll eant to leave it in the carrier in the car, go inside and sort something out with the staff. There are going to be tons of dogs barking and if you bring a cat in a carrier and go stand in line with all that youll end up with a cat that won't come out to get the shot. Learned that the old fashioned way: screwing it up the first time. Good luck! .

They took my large catfish & rehomed him. They have also taken some finches I have found over the years. I'm sure they will take them & rehome your fish.
