Really nice place on winnipesaukee , multi levels of restaurant seating and outside dining . Subs and salad were very good and reasonably priced . Draught beer was good ! I’m sure I’ll be back again soon !

Sauce was good, tortellinis were good (not homemade), atmosphere was good with the mill falls and Winnipesaukee in view. Others with me did not fare as well with their meals, but I was happy.

A friend and I arrived a little before 4:30 on a Tuesday. We stood waiting to be seated while four waitresses stood around offering each other wine and talking about how much alcohol they had drank after coming to work (they only opened at 4). We waited 10-15min before the hostess told us she didn’t know if they had time to serve us. We assured her we were there for a short late lunch as we had to be going, and she told us we needed to order right away. Our schedules seemed to be conveniently aligned. Great. The waitress arrived after we already made our choices and closed our menus, and refused to take our order, telling us we could only order drinks until after another table had ordered food. We explained we were in a bit of a hurry and had promised the hostess we would be in and out. She insisted she absolutely couldn’t take our food order and we could only order drinks. We decided to just leave at this point. The waitress then said she could take our order and was “just trying to be polite” but at this point we had had enough. The entire experience was very bizarre. Had they simply said, we are sorry all of our tables are reserved, we would have left hoping to come back. Instead we left never wanting to go back and recommending against their restaurant.
