When in Wakefield, I generally make a point to stop at another popular lunch spot in town, but had recently heard positive recommendations about Cindy's Place and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. We stopped at the end of the lunch hour, so we pretty much had the dining room and the staff's attention to ourselves. The food was excellent and the price was more than fair. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the bowl of fish chowder and it was actually what I would call a meal, not like the flat serving bowls I get in most restaurants that barely hold a cup portion. My dining partner had a Rueben, grilled on fresh baked bread. He had his fill on half a sandwich and brought the rest home to enjoy later. We will definitely be back.
