Well maintained surface with intersections marked. Only went as far as West Danville. Pleasant place to enjoy an easy ride.

Between St Johnsbury and Danville, it stretches about 16 miles.
In St. Johnsbury the parking area is a bit hidden. It is at the intersection of railroad street and south main street.
The previous commenter is right, There is almost no pavement. However what there is is a very fine gravel that's been hard packed. It's as good as riding on pavement. The hills are very gradual and long because it used to be a railroad bed. So, there are no sudden climbs or descents.
15 miles
