We ate there today. We are the Hells Angels Mc . The food was so awesome. The service excellent. Our brother John passed away today and the owner tells us he loved the food. Now we do too. 5 stars. And it's good to find great food in a small town. The corned beef is the best. Over 9000 pounds. Steve

If you're looking for good home style food, reasonable prices, with a cozy atmosphere & friendly service, look no further! This small, cute cafe is definitely a hidden gem in the town of Winchendon. We decided to stop in for lunch while passing through, and were pleasantly surprised. They serve breakfast + lunch, with daily specials as well. My friend ordered an omelette, which he was happy with, that came with his choice of hash browns or home fries, he went with the hash browns & had no complaints. My fiance & I both ordered the pot roast lunch special, which was pretty good, though I do wish we shared a meal, instead of ordering two. What I really enjoyed the most was the homemade cream of mushroom soup we split as an appetizer. Delicious, flavorful, with large pieces of mushrooms, served nice & hot, this definitely hit the spot on a chilly Winter's day. Our waitress was talkative, outgoing & friendly. She seemed to enjoy her job & chatting with customers, both familiar & new. She told us how everything is homemade here, including all of the food served & bakery items such as danish, whoopi pies. She also informed us that the chef was also the restaurant owner. I really enjoyed our dining experience, and would definitely stop in again sometime! The only thing I might suggest is that when you serve the pot roast, you may want to offer gravy with it, or on the side, as I did find the meat to be very tasty & tender, but a little on the dry side. Vegetables were delicious & soft, reminded me a bit of a boiled dinner, but with pot roast, rather than corned beef. Credit to the chef/owner. He clearly knows his way around the kitchen & the waitress was charming. Keep up the great work. They've been in business almost 8 years, and I can certainly understand why! **Update**: Stopped in again today. Delicious Swedish meatballs & homemade macaroni & cheese. Great service again! Cozy, warm atmosphere. They also have grapenut pudding & bread pudding. Wonderful food. Very friendly people. Waitress & chef/owner are welcoming & kind. Will return again! Changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Perfect spot for a snack or meal during Winter. Texas toast was also delicious & complimented the meals nicely. Fresh coffee always as well!

Great place for breakfast or lunch (or breakfast FOR lunch). Homemade soup was incredible, as was the Texas style French toast and BLTs my family downed. We are new to the area, visited this restaurant yesterday for breakfast. Both of our omelets were delicious, cooked perfectly. Coffee was great as well as the home fries. The cinnamon roll was to die for - clearly homemade. They grilled for …Thank you so much for trying our Cafe... we are very glad that you liked our food as well as our atmosphere ..hope to see you again soon...thank you
