I’ve changed my address over the phone god knows how many times and the mail STILL gets sent to the wrong address or they close my case before I even get the mail. This is getting ridiculous.

I know if there were a negative number. -10. Worst customer service. The guy I was talking to, (he started yelling at me.) So I asked for his supervisor, He hung up on me

Miss T. Window C so kind and sweet she help us out tremendously, completed our applications and got us the interview appointment for next week. It was completed within half an hour, the waiting time in front of the building was about 40 minutes and for the interview for the following week by Mr. J. only took 40 minutes. I’m very happy and satisfied with the services.

After searching the website and being sent to links to non-working websites, I eventually found information paper (EN-05-10514) to give instructions on getting Social Security card replacement for child. Brought in documentation as stated on paper and was told that I needed the child present to get card. I stated that it said nothing about that on their instruction paper, and the clerk pulled the paper down looked at it and acknowledged that it wasn’t on there. I’m willing to comply, but when this agency can’t even get their act together and put the information required on their information sheets, how is a person supposed to get things right. Would somebody at Social Security please read this and do something about it? If you have specific requirements please post that on the requirement sheet otherwise allow the person who followed the information on the sheet do their business. The person at least acknowledged my frustration and said they would kick my suggestions up the chain of command. Unfortunately it was an experience of ineffective government bureaucracy at its finest! Two thumbs down.

How do I make an appointment
Can I do the forms on line
That's understandable
It is usually done when did the death certificate is filed because the claimants number is on that form. The next of kin that reports the death usually receives approximately a $255 payout and these things are usually done automatically. You can do it online or you can call the general number for social security and they will be able to help you. So sorry for your loss. God-bless
No, the appointment just guarantee's you will see someone at that time, you can walk in to see someone. Its not always the best if you need something done ASAP to call. I have called to schedule an appointment and was scheduled for a month out. It was easier to just walk in.
Sorry can't help you there please call them to find that out. I don't work for them.
There is a quiz on their website or talk to your doctor!
i was able to work 39hr And after 80 dollars they take dollar 4 dollar.soe part time work.its diffrent for disability.
You can do it online or you can pick up the paperwork and schedule a time to come back. If you go in and have an appointment, the wait is minimal and you won't have to deal with waiting for a callback over the phone and possibly get interrupted. I went in for mine and it was a relief to know that the claim for benefits was done correctly. The case worker was very patient and kind. Hope this helps.
You can fill out the application online or stop by your local SSA office. Easy peasy.
I work 9-5 I can't go in
Yes
Sorry can't help you there.
Yes you can walk into the building and go to the guards. And up to the second floor but you need a mask. I've been up there twice already they just opened up in April. Don't forget t use the machine to sign in.
You can make an appointment by calling the Ogden office, but most everything can be handled over the phone.
Currently yes unless it's to drop of forms then you can go in and use the drop box.
No
I would call the office and ask what paperwork you are going to need and you will also need to set up an appointment for that.
By appointment only
Went there last week (7-6-21)and was turned away, was told by the security officer that the offices were closed.
As far as I am aware being on SSI myself they don't do their stuff online you have to go in person secondly a social security card can be a pain in the butt to get and that's because of how security like they are with this they have to think about everyone that gets one so they have quite a bit on their plate
Yes
Yes, you can try and go in.
I doubt it will be that soon, but you'll have to call and ask
You have to have an appointment and only the person who the appointment is for can enter the building
They are closed.
You will have to talk to the office. I am sorry, I don't have an answer for that.
No, only one parent is required with a valid ID
Yes, in fact that's recommended
Most likely...they'll probably have you verify your info. If not you should be able to on the website.
Call them and ask to speak to an associate or go to the office to ask
Then you should call the local office if you have one scheduled. If you dont have one scheduled you can still walk in and use the kiosk to explain why your there etc.
Go into office and apply, have Id with custody paperwork
Yes you should be able to get 50% of his
You can go and wait your turn. It will not be an appointment. It will be first come first serve so show up early or during low business hrs.
No. Is busiest on Mondays.
You can either make your account online. Which if you do t already have one will take a little bit to generate a safe pin code to use. But really the safest way is going into your local Ogden office and be prepared it's usually very busy! Good luck
Usually an original or a certified copy can be presented in person or mailed. Call the main number to be sure this information is correct and up to date.
Take 2 pieces of mail to ssi and ID to prove your address must be recent mail they should be able to help
No you do not need an appointment. you can go and get into the line to drop off the documents to have.
Yeah Work!
You need a Birth Certificate and Marriage licence if you have one
You can call in and schedule it over the phone. Be aware that depending on how soon you need to get in sometimes appointments are scheduleded a bit further out so walking in my be best. Again just depends on how soon you need to get in. If waiting is not an issue the call and see what's available.
Open, but not on Saturdays
Who is this
If your only trying to get a new SSC then all you really need is the application. But yes, as long as it is currwnt and not expired you should be fine.
You take a number when you get in the call you up it takes up to a couple of days in the mail to come to you maybe a week
Contact the Department of Workforce Services.
If you have an account number and routing number, I would think so but I would call their General Information number and speak to a Representative to be sure. Good luck.
Do I have to call in to change my address?
Just current proof of your name as of right now like birth certificate social security card ID or driver's license and then you should be able to like if you got married just taken your marriage license or whatever to change your name
You can make an appointment by calling the local office directly.
They have a website you can go to socialsecurity.gov or you can Google search Social Security Administration phone number and you can call them and do it right over the phone as long as you have the answers to all the verification questions and there is about eight of them
