Terrible hospital. My wife walked in during regular business hours with a 13 week old terribly sick puppy and they told her they don't accept walk ins. Lobby was pretty much empty, and they showed no sympathy for the situation and urgency at hand. Turned out our puppy had giardia which is a severe illness with a 103 fever. Banfield took us as a walk in without a problem and treated him with medications and a shot. Stay far away from this place. RESPONSE to OWNER: That's a lie. It's the one in the publix shopping center off Miami gardens drive that she went to. It was yesterday 8/22 and she was turned away.

A big thank you to Dr. Caballero, Vet Tech Alexa, and all the friendly office staff at Sunset Pet Hospital for taking such good care of Chacho. I shopped around for a good vet and finally have found the best one. They have given me such great advice on caring for my little pooch. My only regret is it tends to be expensive however I have found that’s true across the board at various clinics and well I would pay anything for my dog. They have an annual plan that helps to cover costs. They helped heal my dog after a scary stomach infection. Thanks again. Also since you only get to see Chacho when he is scared and has to wear a muzzle, here he is when he is playful and happy.

Took our dog in several weeks ago. She was hacking and she had an ear infection, and walking was difficult for her. Vet prescribed medication and gave her antiflammatory medication. She got worse. Took her back a second time and he said her vitals were fine, the lungs had cleared up, and she had a minor ear infection left over. He gave her another shot and prescribed more meds. Took her back a third time literally days after, and by now she was in really bad shape, and still he prescribed more medication and gave her another shot or two and ran more tests and took x-ray however now he noticed what he said could be a cyst or a tumor. You think he would know and at this point you must be saying we should have taken her someone else however he knew her history, and we did not want to start all over again with another vet. He asked us to use a nebulizer, he prescribed more meds, another shot, and my dog was suffering while trying to breath. She bled out in our living room just within an hour of arriving home from ther vet. The humane thing would have been for the vet to have suggested euthanizing our pet immediately the minute we arrived for the third and final visit. Go somewhere else if you can. I rarely write abad review, and cannot recall when was the last time I did however, I am furious and in trermendous pain to say the least. I knew that our dog was old. All I really wanted was the truth. I was prepared to put her down instead of seeing her suffering the way that she did. Thgis is both shameless and disapointing. He should practice this. As a member of the veterinary medical profession, I solemnly swear that I will use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society. I will strive to promote animal health and welfare, relieve animal suffering, protect the health of the public and environment, and advance comparative medical knowledge. Folks this is our experience and if you are content with this vet, then by all means, continue to take your pets there. Our mistake was not taking her to Animal Care and Surgical Hospital off SW 8th Street from the get go. They operated one of her legs many years ago from an auto accident and he saved her life.

Magnific Doctor, but very bad customer service. Lady manager in front desk is very rude and arrogant with bad manners. She has been there for years but the only thing she does well is mistreat clients with her rudeness. I dont know her name. Other than that everything is fine.

Yes, we are closed for Labor Day. Everyone who is in the nursery is picked up tomorrow. Benzoin is scheduled to be revoked tomorrow. Thanks
Not sure, but they are awesome!! Give them a call.
Hi Mr. Mills, I’m not sure if you are asking if we perform dentals on canines/felines. If that is your question, yes we do. Regards, Karyna Mariaca, Office Manager
