It is a self guided tour. This place gives you a look into the life of Benjamin Franklin. It mostly displays things from his years working with the printing press and his pursuit of science knowledge. There are some interactive displays, as well. Very interesting.

There is street parking nearby, but best bet is parking garage and walking. It's within walking distance of the main Independence Mall.

The Franklin house is located beneath the site of Ben Franklin's home. Their are excavations allowing you to view the foundation and privy pit. The museum costs 5 dollars per person and has artifacts and exhibits about the most significant figure in American History. Only s few blocks from independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. At Independence Hall you can take a carriage ride and the driver will point out the many historic sites in Old Town. Many of them the homes of Franklin's creations such as: the first public library, Insurance Company, Fire department. Need I go on! A must for every American and every visitor.
