Warning to all parents !!! Do not let your children into this store unattended! My 14 year old daughter was sold a book that is rated on the Target website as "suitable for age 22 and over" with no questions asked. When I called the store to ask them what their policy was and to suggest that they request ID for certain books if a parent is not present, I was told they are not in the business of banning books (which is not what I was actually asking them to do) and that they would willingly sell any book to any child without parental consent. What a disgrace !!

True Review

Doylestown Bookshop is a nice independent, local bookstore. The store is large and has a great selection of books for all ages. They sell a lot of other items also. The children’s books area has a lot to offer. I didn’t see much staff around. The store is clean and quiet. There are places to sit. The book prices are average. The prices of the other items are somewhat overpriced. And, not every item has a price on it. This needs to change.
