Beautiful place to go camping to bad it not open all year long just in the summer and it is a great place to fish to so if you visit the north State stop on by and do some fishing here and some camping but please take care of the area and don't leave trash ποΈ keep it nice for the future o ya keep a close eye on your kids up there because I have seen some real nasty people up there but most of the people are good people just a few of the gross people you will know the ones I am talking about when you see them o ya there's a lot of bear's up there so keep your food in the Lockers that they provide for you but besides that go have fun πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπ£π£π£π£π£ππππππππππ¦π¦π¦

Great campground next to the Trinity River. There was a picnic table, fire ring, and bear proof food storage container. Plenty of room for our 8 person tent. Lots of wild blackberries to pick and they were amazing to eat! There was a nice path down to the river and it was quiet all night long.

Trinity County campground next to Trinity River; best for tent, small trailer camping, has tables and fire pits (subject to fire season restrictions). No boats.

I've never booked a site in advance
Not sure, but in the time I've spent there I didn't see any indication that it would be shut down for the winter. Although, it would be very cold.
