Very cool concept and experience, drinks, dinner & a movie all in one place!! Very comfortable wide reclining seats with a movable tray table / cup holder also a service button located on the tray table for service and any additional orders. The servers do thier best to not interrupt the movie while providing the service the whole set up is really well done. I'm late to the party on this place but will be the only way I watch a movie ever again!!!

This was my first visit to this theater and it was amazing. Took my grandson to see venom the seats are so comfortable and the temperature of the theater was just perfect. The fact that you can get food while you're watching movie just makes you feel like you're right at home. Going back to see Jurassic Park in 3d woohoo. Can't wait

Our favorite theater. The vibe inside is so cool. The seats are super comfortable reclining seats. The ticket prices are reasonable. It is fun to order food and drinks during the movie. I love the hummus plate. The only bad food item I have tried there is the taco salad.

Yes, eat & drinks.... Just like any other theater only these are meals and they don't sell candy.
It might be a couple more years. Just keep waiting and someone will eventually let you know.
Yes but you have order your tickets online on movie pass. Then bring in your confirmation code.
Thank you for your kind response... Have a blessed day!
Yes, the ticket prices are pretty good in comparison to other locations. They get you with the cost of their food. And yes, there are senor prices.
You can purchase on your phone and they will send you a QR barcode. You can take that to the kiosks (there are plenty right inside the doors) at the front and pick up your tickets.
It's called movie pass.... Studio Movie Grill and movie pass have a partnership and if you have movie pass you get free access to SMG. One movie a day and you can't see the same movie more than once. The cost is $9.95 A month
Just look up the theater and movie times. Very simple
You don't hear any clinking and the lights are not brighter. It is a great atmosphere.
10 dollars an adult ... 5 dollars on Tuesday. And 10.50 after hours movies.
They usually have last call at 1130pm so try for way before then. Suggetion would be to get there earlier than actual showing, hang out at the bar, pre-drink there. Then in the theater already know what you want ,order it and a drink as well --- as soon as you sit down. It comes out quicker to you that way you have more time to keep ordering drinks..A bit buzzed and happy! (:
Mixed drinks along with beer. Just press the button and ask. You'll be carded at the door and asked if you're gonna be ordering drinks. Show your I.D and get a wristband saying you're of age to drink. So when you order a drink all they have to do is look at your wristband. Instead of pulling out your I.D in a dark movie theater.
Hours are based on movie times. Nothing is posted for Bakersfield yet.
Website says April 11th at this time. But looking at the building I think it may be delayed.
Very much so. Has been for a while.
I have know idea. It was very frustrating and disappointing.
Yes
Yes!

To be totally honest not totally sure. I don't think so but could totally be wrong best to call and see. Or check the website I'm sure they would advertise something like that.
Hi Rachel, our peak price at our Bakersfield location is $10 and non-peak is $7. You can visit https://www.studiomoviegrill.com/menu/bakersfield to see our menu prices as well. Hope to see you soon!
Hi Doug, our adult tickets are $10 a piece during peak times (meaning after 7pm). You can always visit on Tuesdays for $5 tickets!
I don't believe so but great none the less
The menu options are available online. The prices won't be listed though.
You should just go online to purchase tickets a day in advance so you don't have to worry about going in person. Then, the day of your movie, you can print your tickets out at Studio Movie Grill and you'll be all set.
The staff will let you know when the grill is closed depending on how close the movie is over
Try calling 535-2292
That was a promotion that they were doing in conjunction with atom tickets, so you may want to check in with them.
We bought all the tickets for the same price. Child (4), Adult (34) and Senior (70).
A restaurant has to have hot water or it wont pass its inspection. I have been there many times and seen into the kitchen as the doors were open. It is very clean. And i have restuarant experience as a trouble shooting manager. The food has been quite good. Maybe there was a problem in the past but. But not since i have started going. It has been a good experience. However I will be glad to challenge the management to show me around next time based on this info. I will show them and they can answer my questions.
They have a full restaurant and bar in lobby area, even alfresco I think
Normal movie ticket prices, $10.50 for adults and $6 for children. Food is pretty standard pricing for restaurants, for a family of 5 I spent $60
Use your gift cards in app to get your tickets
You are not required to purchase food. Tickets for the movie on Friday night at 7:30 for 2 cost us $24 ($3 online purchase charge). However prices are less expensive at different/days and times. I do recommend if you plan on going at a busy time you purchase them online so you can pick good seats and don't waste a trip for a sold out movie. Check In is super quick and easy when you buy tickets online too!
This us not their site. You need to go to their webpage.
They keep it open for start of the movie
They have senior discount, not sure about others.
Nope They should definitely look into that tho
Just buy tix tomorrow. $5 movie Tuesdays.
There is no lost an found it possibly got trashed
Yes they do it's super easy and there's always staff ready to help you
Children ages 2-12 tickets are $7-$7.50.
Pretty close, reg. price is $10, before noon price is $6-$6.50.
Before 12pm tickets are $5, between 12pm and 5pm tickets are $7, and after 5pm tickets are $10. Tickets are $5 all day on Tuesdays.
You're going to spend what you would spend going to a movie theatre and a restaurant separately. My wife and I ordered what we wanted with no regard and spent roughly 80$ on our evening out and that included drinks. Definitely an experience worth trying!
Their ticket prices vary depending on time if day and day off the week, but I've seen them anywhere between $5 and $11.
As of right now, this is the current (05/06/2018) breakdown of ticket prices: Before noon : $5 for all Matinée (12pm - 4:59pm): Adult-$7 child (2 to 12 years old) -$6:50 Evening (5pm+): Adult -$10.50 Child -$6.50 and senior (65+), student with active ID, and military with active ID- $7 Tuesdays: $5 for all showtimes and all ticket types
Its better to buy tickets online and first thing in the morning to get better seating for the evening Later you wait less chances you will get a good seat
Yes you can pay with cash, they bring you the bill about 30 minutes before the movie ends
They have a menu and drink list sent to you when you're seated. It's best to place your order before the movie. You'll be fed during the first act. Drinks and food can be ordered throughout the movie tho if I'm not mistaken
Yes
It should be opening around the second week of April :)
April 14th
The person who previously responded did not look up the prices. General prices are 10 dollars and matinee tickets are 5 dollars.
They open in the spring and the have a website to apply on
