A disturbing, disgusting, dehumanizing experience. Doctors and nurse staff are good. The rest are terrible and don’t care about their patients. Never go there and never send anyone you care about there.

If you plan on being a case manager for this company, please listen, simply don't!! I didn't listen to the negative reviews, I should have! They do not train you! I was told by current staff that the training is horrible. If you are fresh out of college do not allow the money to fool you. You are on your own and when things go left they blame you. They treat their clients as if they are incompetent of making basic decisions. They don't listen to the clients. So many empty offices should have told me to run to the EXIT!! The supervisor is rude! She is passive aggressive and needs to learn to speak to her staff. She plays favorites with the lead case manager. It is no wonder the public is so disgruntled. The lead case manager is unprofessional, she was talking badly about other case managers on the first day of meeting her.

South County needs to step up their game; I just called because a loved one is in a crises and I wanted to talk to the mobil unit. Their was so much noise in the background, I couldn't hear the receptionist. Then they said "wait a minute." I kept saying hello, hello, and all I got was a beep. I waited and waited to no avail. I called back and talked to another receptionist. I said, "I need help". She said, "what is your insurance". I said "the person I am calling for doesn't have insurance" and then they presumably hung up because the call got cut off. All we do is talk about mental health in this country, but it is all lip-service. The help anyone gets, especially the uninsured, is so sub-par. Meanwhile, random acts of violence occur, people and children die, and all the politicians and the majority of us do is bloviate about how we need to change mental health services. And. Nothing. Ever. Happens.

Yes.
Not unless the client youre referring to has completed an Authorization to Release Health Care Information form. A client's presence at South County is medical information and unless a client gives permission to release that information to a person or organization it would violate HIPPA to do so.
My friend has a low income and no insurance. She saw the psychiatrist there and only had to pay $3 for the copay. They have a pharmacy there with affordable generics..her meds were $9 for the month..this place is great
It can depend on how long an admission is. Rule of thumb, get the information from the person themselves. If you are told that staff will give them the message and you don't hear back. That person didn't want you to know.
They only do bloodwork for clients who need levels of medications. They don't do blood work like a lab would
Yes
I went myself as I was having problems with anxiety and depression. Walk in and ask to see someone.
