Saito's Japanese Steakhouse

It's been a long time since I've been to Saito's and this visit reminded me of the reasons. The filet was overcooked and chewy, the veggies were flavourless and mushy, and the fried rice was undercooked (crunchy) and bland. To be fair, the shrimp were tasty. The chef was also boring and had no flair or showmanship at all. This place seems to survive on being well-known since it has so many locations, but the food and experience are very underwhelming for the money. I will gladly drive the extra 20 minutes or so to my favourite hibachi spot, which has better quality food at lower prices, than repeat at Saito's.

The environment is very calming and the staff is excellent. The chefs are exceptional and hilarious too. The food meets the price and not a penny more. I would recommend the steak and shrimp as it is what I get every time I go. 5/5 stars, I would defidently go again.

Good food. We were hungry so we sat on dining room side. Faster service. Secret.... Great service as usual.

Went there for my friends birthday and it was my first time at a hibachi grill and it was amazing. I'm so mad I never tried this before...the filet mignon was so tender and lobster was amazing. Oh and my favorite thing was the Miso soup 🍲. It was delicious. I will definitely go back again. Thank you
