That is a simple and complex answer at the same time. All of our pastries are made and baked fresh daily. The quantity prepared is designed to sell our during the day. Some days they sell out earlier than others. There are no pastries from today served tomorrow. If there are pastries remaining at the end of the day, they are given away. Our pastries have no preservatives and would not fare well the next day. They come fresh from the oven at 6:30 am and are placed in the cases for sale. The product generally sells out slightly before noon to early afternoon. Some of the early birds get the extra benefit of the just-from-the- oven warmth still remaining. The simple part is this; it is how we operate our business. The complex part is that we can never perfectly estimate consumption and risk disappointing some guests. Many of our guests are very frequent visitors to Tony off Third and have come to accept that freshness is our first priority and that sometimes not available.

All staff are required to wear face masks at all times. Guests are required to wear masks, as well. We strongly request that guests wear masks when moving about the restaurant. We have significant outdoor dining space and well-spaced indoor seating. If you require outdoor dining, please call the restaurant to inquire about availability. We have had sanitizer readily available. We uses single service paper menus. We have installed a GPS Bi-polar ionization system which removes and destroys most airborne viral contaminants, including those associated with Covid-19.
